In each class participants will use a variety of materials and techniques to create 4-5 small mixed media samples.  One will be finished in class as a special, one-of-a-kind greeting card.  The others will be taken home to use as desired in home decor items, card making, scrapbooking, mixed media art pieces, inserted into an art journal, etc.  Class 1 will cover Watercolor background techniques, wet-on-wet and wet-on-dry techniques, use of different pigments and bases (inks, watercolor pencils, alcohol, water), different tools ( brush and non-brush items), different textures and thickness of paper.  Class members are encouraged to bring completed samples from previous classes to "show and tell" at the next class.  Class 1 will be on Watercolor Techniques - Class 2 is on 3-D Texture and Class 3 is Heat Embossing. There is a supply fee of $25 per class that is payable when you register.  You will be able to take home 1 set of watercolor pencils and 1 set of 2 spritzers.  You can sign up for one or all 3 - call for details!
