Hill Country Archeology

The archeology, both historic and prehistoric, of the Texas Hill Country is rich.  This course will portray descriptions of life ways of Native Americans in our region and how these changed through time.  The archeological periods used for Texas archeological time will be placed in context with these life ways. Stone tools and weapons utilized by the region’s Native Americans will also be discussed and real specimens displayed, as well as some discussion of ancient local sites. Learn from a teacher who has devoted much of his time to performing professional methods of archeological site work with private landowners.
