"Every good building requires a good foundation." Beginning with the outdoors, you will study trees, shrubs and plants. Then move on to animals, fur and feathers. You will work on building scapes and perspective while further exploring your brush strokes and using pallete knives. Different types of art such as Impressionism, cubism, modern, pop and expressionism will be discussed. All while learning techniques and skills to help you to find your own niche. Experimentation with sponges, fabrics, plastics and other items will be used for mixed media effects. The Drawing Composition and Design class and Acrylics I is highly recommended to take before or in conjunction with this and other level arcylic classes. Contact Club Ed for the supply list.
