Previous experience is a necessity in this fast-paced class to keep you motivated. Portraits, modeling the human form and features is for the experienced painter. These sessions will begin with a la prima portraits refining your pallette for skin tones and warm and cool sides for modeling a life-like subject. Clean colors will be stressed and laying on canvas. Paintingfrom the shoulder at a distance, not inches from the canvas. Undoing bad habits and learning good habits will be a huge focus during this class. You will also learn scattering color, improving background choices and more. Group critique and review will help with personal growth.
