Previous experience is a necessity in this fast-paced class to keep you motivated. Portraits, modeling the human form and features is for the experienced painter. These sessions will begin with a la prima portraits refining your pallette for skin tones and warm and cool sides for modeling a life-like subject. Clean colors will be stressed and laying on canvas. Paintingfrom the shoulder at a distance, not inches from the canvas. Undoing bad habits and learning good habits will be a huge focus  during this class. You will also learn scattering color, improving background choices and more. Group critique and review will help with personal growth. The Drawing Composition and Design class and Acrylics I & II are highly recommended to take before or in conjunction with this and other level arcylic classes. Contact Club Ed for the supply list.
