This course is designed to empower participants.  Those who anticipate the need for nursing home care or have friends or relatives in nursing homes or skilled nursing facilities will learn the value of their own common sense.  The course focuses on selection, payment, care and residents rights.  The instructor will cover how ownership and staffing affect each resident's care; also, how to identify good care and be a positive advocate when problems arise.
