Mold Allergies

ID : 48723
« back to classes page
Everyone routinely breathes in mold spores. Unfortunately, some people when exposed to large amounts of mold have an allergic reaction. In this situation, our immune system becomes extremely sensitive to them and results in symptoms such as sneezing, runny or stuffy nose, cough and postnasal drip, itchy eyes, nose and throat, watery eyes, and dry scaly skin. Development of allergic mold problems, where the molds come from, how the body responds to molds, how a diagnosis is made, and how the disease is treated or prevented will be discussed.
