Hill Country Geology - Part 2: Fossils of the Hill Country

The story begins when the Llano Uplift first began to form about 1.5 billion years ago. The presentation will discuss some of the fossils that are found here and why it is important to understand the richness of the Hill Country and it’s geologic past. The identification of fossil trilobites-to-stromatolites-to dinosaur footprints-to-ammonites will be included in the discussion.
