Digital technology has created rapid shifts in the way we live, play, communicate and work. Changing norms for effective communications are making it difficult for the elder generation to understand the challenges faced by children and grandchildren. The Dean of Students at Schreiner University will discuss these changes in technology and communication. He will offer strategies for moving forward so we connect with each other and our families in ways that are purposeful and add meaning to our lives. Charlie Hueber believes, that within their lifetime, a person currently seventy years old will experience major changes in how they communicate with family and friends 3 more times in the next decades ahead. This class will help you enjoy living in this rapidly changing communications environment.
