Who doesn't need some "brush-up" on their public presentation skills? This class affords an opportunity to do just that. Class members will choose his/her own areas of study and performance from the following: public speaking unit, small group discussion unit or dramatic units of study.
Group improvisations involving the entire class, as well as smaller group improvs of three to five (or more) class members, will be used to address and have experiences in "coping" with a variety of public performance issues.
The class length will be one and a half hours, with a 10-minute break at the end of the first hour. General class instruction will be the focus of the first segment. The last half hour of the class will involve the instructor working with individuals and/or any needed small groups working on a selected project.
