Express yourself in new and satisfying ways.
 
Come join in of you play any acoustic instrument and would like to practice and perform with others!  We are a supportive group of musicians ranging in ability from beginner to comfortable.  Southwind Players grew out of Club Ed's dulcimer classes, and we are made up of players of all abilities.  Most members play mountain dulcimers, but all acoustic instruments are welcome.  We focus on traditional, Celtic, and holiday music.  We occasionally perform.  For more information contact Jim Myers (830)257-7667 or Sara Vaughan (830) 367-5758.  A $5 supply fee is payable on the first day.

Join a group of ukulele players who want to get together in a casual way, jam together and learn form each other.  Knowledge of at least some of the basic chords (C,D,F,G,A)  is required.  Also, players are expected to know how to tune their instrument.  Participants will need a ukulele, music stand and plan to purchase four ukulele song books "The Daily Ukulele - 365 Songs for Better Living,"  "The Daily Ukulele - Leap Year Edition,"  "Jumpin' Jim's Ukulele Country," and "Jumpin' Jim's Gone Hollywood."  The group is led by several team leaders.  All instruments are welcome.
